    A Man Collapses After Finding Out the Apartment He’s been Paying Rent for 9 Years Belongs to his Jobless Wife Richard Githirwa a 38-year-old man is currently recuperating at a hospital after suffering neurogenic shock on Wednesday morning . According to medical reports, Mr. Githirwa collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by househelp & neighbour after reading his wife’s email on their home computer and found out the apartment he has paid rent totaling over sh 4.8 million in nine years belongs to his jobless wife. Githirwa accessed the wife’s email who is away visiting her sister in Naivasha and found emails from KRA with her tax income details. The apartment which has other 29 tenants and managed by a real estate firm has been owned by the wife since 2009 before the two got married.

It was gathered that the tragic incident occurred while the victim, fondly called Nini, was heading home after the monthly clearance exercise at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat. According to eyewitnesses, the deceased wore headphones thereby did not hear the train's horn while trying to walk across the rail track.
